Party Zone bars in conflict with district

Although following the lifting of curfew limitations in Budapest, the terraces of restaurants and catering facilities may be open, full freedom has not returned, and such venues must close by 10 p.m., leaders of Budapest’s Seventh District have warned.

Website 24 writes that owners of such establishments in what is known as the city’s Party Zone do not agree with these new limitations, and are organising a protest in such a way that they will not close at 10 p.m. on Saturday.

The district pointed out that no music can be played in the streets, terraces must close at 10 p.m., and tables and chairs must not remain on the streets after that time.

The office also warns that terraces in the district are continuously being checked.
