Decathlon introduces app for queuing

Decathlon has introduced a mobile phone application for personally queuing for entry at its unit on Nyugati tér in Budapest, the sporting goods retail chain announced on Monday.

As some social restrictions were lifted in Budapest on Monday, the shop was permitted to open but with a limited number of visitors in the shop at any time.

Queue numbers can be taken virtually by the app and the user receives a note when it is his/her turn.

The system was developed by Hungarian start-up Linistry Digital Queuing. It has also sold the app to hairdressing chain Bio Hair.
