Two more crossings open to Austria

Two border crossings to Austria were re-opened from Wednesday morning, following lengthy negotiations, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced yesterday.

The stations link Jánossomorja and Andau, and Alsószölnök and Neumarkt.

He noted that restrictions on passenger traffic cause major difficulties to those who work on the other side of the border.

The Jánossomorja border station will be open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the Alsószölnök crossing between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
