The project is aimed primarily at young people and is expected to support the regeneration of the area around Keleti train station. Designed by ZIP Architects, the 7,500m2 complex will comprise a basement, ground floor and six upper floors. The development marks a shift in local housing policy away from the privatisation and renovation of existing homes towards expanding social rental housing and supporting young people starting their careers. A parallel EU-funded pilot project in the district on Csányi utca has a similar focus.
