Wizz Air cuts planned capacity by 5%

Wizz Air has pruned its planned capacity for the coming winter by 5%, citing geopolitical uncertainty and volatile fuel prices, the low-cost airline said on Thursday.
Stronger-than-expected summer revenue has nevertheless prompted the airline to raise its unit-revenue forecast for the second quarter.
Wizz Air continues to withhold guidance for the full 2027 financial year.
