Vitézy promotes car-free day discounts

Bicycles will be carried free of charge on intercity trains in Hungary from September 16-22 during European Mobility Week, Transport and Investment Minister Dávid Vitézy said.
On services that normally require bicycle reservations, passengers will still need to reserve space, but the reservation will be free.
A nationwide day pass costing Ft 999 will be available on September 22, Car-Free Day. It will not cover local public transport, including in cities where county passes are normally accepted.
