Sándor Palace to be open to visitors

The head of state’s office, Sándor Palace, will once again welcome visitors on August 1 and August 8, Speaker of Parliament Ágnes Forsthoffer announced on social media.
Forsthoffer, currently exercising the powers of the head of state, said “The building not only has a romantic past, but also a present of historical significance”.
Forsthoffer invited the public to explore the palace’s grand halls on guided tours and discover stories from its 220-year history.
The free “Open Doors” programme offers guided tours of the early Classicist palace.
Participation is free, but advance registration is required through the Sándor Palace website.
