HATC SAMPLE EDITION:    Politics & Foreign Relations    Economic News    Business News    Other News of Interest    All stories	29th July, 2026 Sándor Palace to be open to visitors The head of state’s office, Sándor Palace, will once again welcome visitors on August 1 and August 8, Speaker of Parliament Ágnes Forsthoffer announced on social media. Forsthoffer, currently exercising the powers of the head of state, said “The building not only has a romantic past, but also a present of historical significance”. Forsthoffer invited the public to explore the palace’s grand halls on guided tours and discover stories from its 220-year history. The free “Open Doors” programme offers guided tours of the early Classicist palace. Participation is free, but advance registration is required through the Sándor Palace website.
