Huge mural depicts Szoboszlai
“It is an honour for me to be given a place on a public square mural in Fehérvár”, Hungarian national football team captain Dominik Szoboszlai declared at the unveiling of a mural portraying him in Székesfehérvár, his hometown.
At an unveiling ceremony on Sunday attended by nearly 2,000 people, the star of Liverpool and Hungary said “I spent every day of my life in the past 23 years to become what I am today; this was my plan, my dream, my goal and it required tremendous work.”
Szoboszlai attached his signature to the 16-meter-high painting, commissioned as part of the Telekom festival.
Nine people worked a total of 80 hours on it and used 317 litres of paint.
