Pek-Snack exports gain momentum

Frozen pastry maker the Pek-Snack Group increased its after-tax profit to Ft 619 million in 2025 from Ft 589 million a year earlier, while consolidated revenue remained broadly unchanged at Ft 12.7 billion.

Exports continued to drive growth, with the share of foreign sales rising from 38% to 42% of total revenue.

During the year, the company entered the Bulgarian, Slovenian and Austrian markets, raising the number of countries it serves outside Hungary to eight.

Croatia accounted for 30% of total sales, while other export markets took in 12%.

Pek-Snack employs 350 people and manufactures tens of millions of frozen bakery products each year at its facility in Igal.

Its products are sold through franchise partners as well as domestic and international retail chains.
