Ukrainian flag at Tisza event seen as provocation

Péter Magyar blamed “Fidesz propaganda” for the appearance of a huge Ukrainian flag at the start of his party’s National March on Sunday afternoon.
An eyewitness who recorded the incident told Telex that eight or nine people ran out of nowhere into the crowd, formed a circle in a practiced manner and extended a four- or five-metre-long flag in the middle of the crowd.
Simultaneously, photographers appeared who documented the extended flag in the crowd and from neighbouring balconies.
When some people tried to remove the flag, the perpetrators collected it at the signal of a whistle and dashed away.
Magyar said Fidesz and its propaganda were capable only of a pitiful lie and an act of provocation.
