The company has not disclosed numbers, but Telex has been informed that the decision could affect around 200 staff in 2026, with most reductions falling in areas supporting production, including engineers and office-based employees. Inside sources say the Hungarian operation will report exceptionally strong results within the Volkswagen Group in both engine and vehicle output when Audi Hungaria publishes its 2025 production figures, expected in March.
