MagNet bank to absorb Polgári Bank
Polgári Bank’s customers will be transferred to MagNet Bank from February 28, the two lenders announced on Friday, as they are to merge on that date.
Existing Polgári Bank cards will remain usable until February 26, while replacement MagNet cards will be available for collection from Polgári Bank branches from January 12, with activation to be handled automatically by MagNet.
The merger will also bring service changes. Polgári Bank customers, who previously had no mobile banking option, will gain access to MagNet’s NetBank and MobilBank platforms.
After the integration, MagNet Bank will operate 29 branches and 16 additional ATMs nationwide.
