State selling off small vineyard plots
Bidding is open until December 17 for the government’s latest land-sale scheme, which offers more than 3,100 parcels of less than ten hectares, mostly vineyard plots.
The National Land Fund says most of the lots are smallholdings suited mainly to neighbouring land users, who can cultivate them economically.
The plots, scattered across several hundred settlements, cover roughly 480 hectares in total.
Vineyard transactions produced an average price of Ft 3.5 million per hectare in 2024.
