RingPay enters Hungary

Contactless “ring” payments have arrived in Hungary, RingPay, the provider of the new service, announced on Monday.
The waterproof, non-rechargeable device works with contactless NFC terminals and is compatible with all Hungarian banks through Curve Pay, as well as with Revolut.
RingPay is the wearable payments division of the British firm Money Carer, a UK-based financial services provider.
The ring generates a unique encrypted token for each payment rather than transmitting real card details, thereby reducing the risk of fraud.
