More Hungarians planning to vote

More people than in recent months say they will vote in the next election, according to the latest poll conducted by the Republikon Institute in September.

According to a survey, voter participation has increased from 63% in August to 68% today.

Péter Magyar’s party has a 43-35% lead over Fidesz among decided voters, up from 41-35% in August.

Alongside the two big parties, only Our Homeland – and possibly the Democratic Coalition – can be expected to cross the 5% parliamentary threshold.

The survey was conducted between September 25 and October 1 among 1,000 people who were interviewed by phone. The poll is representative for the adult population of the country according to gender, age, schooling and type of settlement. The margin of error is 3.5%.
