Tesla expands charging network

Tesla has finished building its first V4 Supercharger station in Pécs, though a technical issue is delaying its launch by a few days, Villanyautósok.hu reported.

The new chargers, equipped with longer cables, make it easier for non-Tesla drivers to plug in, and they also support direct bank card payments, eliminating the need for an app.

The Pécs site, in the Decathlon and Tesco parking lot, is part of a broader expansion.

Tesla’s updated network map shows new chargers coming to Budapest’s Váci út, as well Tesco car parks in Budaörs and Érd.

Tesla, which has often partnered with Auchan in Hungary, now appears to be shifting towards installations at Tesco locations.
