The Tisza EuroCity trains will run from Budapest and Vienna to Uzhhorod, while new services will operate from Záhony to Berehove. The development was made possible by co-operation between the Hungarian, Austrian and Ukrainian railway companies and by the reconstruction of the Transcarpathian network, including the extension in Ukraine of standard-gauge track compatible with the European system, MÁV said. Tickets for the new services are available at box offices, while online sales will start in the second half of September.
