Popeyes eatery chain coming soon
The Fusion Group has signed an exclusive agreement to bring Popeyes eateries to Hungary, the fast-food chain said on Monday.
The New Orleans-based chicken chain will open its first Hungarian outlet in Budapest this autumn, though the location has not been disclosed.
Popeyes’ Hungarian debut follows its broader European expansion, with outlets now operating in Spain, Switzerland, the UK, Romania, France, Italy and the Czech Republic.
The move marks the arrival of a second American fried-chicken chain in Hungary after KFC.
