The fully renovated Danubius Hotel Helia in Budapest was officially handed over in April, featuring 262 smart-equipped rooms and suites, new wellness and fitness facilities, and expanded event spaces. Renovations are also underway at other hotels in the chain. Room upgrades began in 2024 at Hotel Annabella in Balatonfüred, while Hotel Bük has undergone similar improvements. In Budapest’s Hotel Hungaria, the lobby and conference rooms have been refurbished, with room renovations now in progress. The renovations not only refresh aesthetics but also enhance energy efficiency through solar panels and heat pump systems. All design work is led by Nathalie Rottenburg, a Spanish hotel design expert known for her earlier work with Danubius on Hilton Budapest, Radisson Blu Béke Hotel, and the White Raven Skybar & Lounge.
