Ráckeve tap water deemed unsafe

Authorities in Ráckeve have banned tap water consumption after arsenic levels in the Csepel Island town were found to exceed permissible limits.
The local government has advised residents to use only safe sources of water for cooking, while tap water remains suitable for cleaning, washing, and livestock use.
Efforts are underway to deploy water trucks to supply residents with safe drinking water.
