Businesses with fewer than 50 employees with no website or outdated ones can apply for Ft 400,000 to Ft 1.5 million in aid for the creation, development, or operation of a website, social media page or online store. The aid comes in the form of vouchers that can be used with 19 pre-selected web developers, with more to be added. Applicants need not provide any funds for the programme, managed by the Neumann János Nonprofit. The ministry highlighted that the programme aims to support at least 5,000 Hungarian micro- and small businesses. More than 2,500 businesses have already expressed interest through pre-registration since the programme was first announced in December.
