Police catch boy behind bomb scares
Police have caught a 15-year-old pupil who sent threatening messages to 46 schools during January 26-30. The youth used the same text that had been sent to some 400 schools on January 23.
The boy confessed to the deed and said he wanted to scare other schoolchildren.
He may face charges of threatening to commit a terrorist act.
The sender of the bogus bomb threats was identified by cyber experts of the Institute of National Investigation.
Police searched another 44 schools after the boy sent out more false bomb warnings on Thursday evening and found no explosives.
