Data shows that, on average, consumers return 18 bottles or cans per transaction. Retailers participating as REpoints have received Ft 7.2 billion for managing reverse vending machines and manual returns. Consumers redeemed Ft 40 billion in vouchers, but can also choose bank transfers or donations as alternatives.
