The bicycle lanes on the Nagykörút will be physically protected and traffic safety on Üllői út and Váci út will be improved, he wrote. Implementation of the plan could, however, take years, as a public procurement tender on planning is expected to start in the second quarter of 2025, Karácsony added. The public procurement procedure for the design is expected to be announced in the second quarter. The construction plans are expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2026, Karácsony added.
