The MOL Move app, part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance digital payment adoption, can be used at 179 pump stations, which will be soon expanded to 217 locations, said MOL’s marketing official Bence Bögös. Customers can scan a QR code and pay for fuel during opening hours. When MOL shops are closed, refuelling is only possible with pre-payment and the application will deduct the price of the quantity of fuel pumped. The MOL Move app works with all credit cards. The company has rolled out an all-out marketing campaign involving influencers to promote the service.
