The purchase will be made via his Luxembourg-based investment vehicle Byborg. This company will operate Playboy’s online products and services independently. Playboy magazine was printed in Hungary monthly until 2019 and in the US until 2020, but now produces online content, and has more than 80 million readers in more than 180 countries. The tax authority NAV terminated an investigation into Gattyán’s company group this summer.
