While patients will not undergo formal checks, their presence will be visually monitored. László Szijjártó, president of the Győr-Moson-Sopron county medical chamber, expressed scepticism, stating that these checks will not address long-standing issues such as staff shortages and funding problems in hospitals. Questions remain regarding potential actions if hospitals are found to have patients only on paper, especially as many hospitals are already heavily indebted, Szijjártó added.
