Wizz Air suspends all flights to Israel and Italy

Wizz Air is suspending its flights to Israel during March 12-23, because of the newly imposed 14-day quarantine required by Israeli authorities on all incoming flight passengers.

Wizz Air flights link Hungary to Tel Aviv and Eilat.

Israeli airline El Al’s Hungarian office told Airportál that flights to Budapest will depart only on March 11 and 12.

All Wizz Air flights to Italy are suspended from March 10, due to the lockdown announced by its prime minister in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Wizz Air has as a result cancelled flights from Hungary to Alghero, Bari, Bologna, Catania, Milan Bergamo, Milan Malpensa, Naples, Pisa, Roma Ciampino, Roma Fiumicino, Torino, Venice, Treviso and Verona until April 3.
