Russian Kino, a Russian-language television station which broadcasts Russian films, will be launched by Hungarian telecommunications company Vidanet this month, the company announced on Tuesday. Films produced between 1948 and the present will be aired on the channel.

Russian Kino is part of Viasat World and was launched in Russia in 2005. In the following years, the station became accessible in nearly 1.4 million households in 17 countries in the Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe and the United Sates.
