Magyar Posta to sell MÁP+ bond



Magyar Posta is going to sell the attractive retail bond MÁP+, according to the leaflet available at state bond information website Állampapír.

The five-year retail bond, which so far is available only as an immaterial financial asset, will be printed in denominations of Ft 10,000, Ft 50,000, Ft 100,000, Ft 500,000 and Ft 1 million face values.

The bond pays 3.5% interest in the first year, rising by 50 basis points annually, reaching the maximum of 6% at the end of the fifth year.

Owners of the bond must be registered.

Some 2,100 Magyar Posta offices have an IT infrastructure sufficient to sell the retail bonds.
