X-Men TV music may have been plagiarised

Hungarian director Zoltán Kriskó is suing several American media giants, alleging that the theme music for the 1990s X-Men TV series was stolen from the music written for Hungary’s “Linda” TV series, broadcast in 1983.

Kriskó is representing the late György Vukán, composer of the “Linda” theme.

The X-Men animated series was aired from 1992 to 1997, but Kriskó did not encounter it until 2017.

He is suing Marvel, Disney, Fox, Apple, Amazon and other media firms.
