MKKP bus stop destroyed

A bus stop built by the Two-Tailed Dog Party (MKKP) in Szombathely from public donations has been pulled down by unknown persons in the middle of the night, shortly before it was to be formally approved.

The bus stop was first meant to be installed in Felcsút and was unveiled there, but the local council refused to accept it, so the MKKP installed it at a Szombathely location.

Local Fidesz councillor Károly Sátory criticised the bus stop and demanded at the April 30 general meeting that those who had erected it should remove it.

However, the town council voted for the bus stop to remain if a licencing process was launched.

That did not happen until Monday but the MKKP’s Vas county chapter wrote on Facebook that unidentified people had unscrewed the bolts holding the bus stop in place, presumably to remove it at the right moment.

The party recently sent the promised detailed design to the local council and it would have received the permit, Index reports.
