Intensive rat extermination to begin

Targeted, intensive rat extermination is to begin in Budapest’s ten inner districts through a joint plan with the National Health Care Centre, the Mayor’s Office announced on Tuesday.

The full-scale treatment will begin Wednesday in Budapest’s busiest railway stations and transport hubs.

From next week, staff members of the RNBH consortium will place rat poison in the sewage systems of the Fifth, Ninth and 13th Districts.
