Hungarian law students win international contest

A team of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) law students came first at the prestigious Jessup international competition organised by the International Law Students Association in Washington.

The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, held annually since 1960, is the largest scale international event of its kind and has the longest history.

This year’s contest drew participants from more than 680 universities in 100 countries.

ELTE’s team faced that of Columbia University in the finals.
