Taxify has more than 600 drivers

Estonian ride-hailing company Taxify has increased the number of its drivers in Hungary to more than 600 in just two years since entering the market, the company announced on Friday.

It plans to increase that number to 700-800 by year’s end.

Taxify arranged 2 million rides in two years and its app was downloaded 250,000 times.

Taxify Hungary boosted after-tax profit to Ft 64.8 million last year following a Ft 6.2 million loss in 2016, while revenues soared from Ft 32.6 million to Ft 161.7 million in the same period.
