MTelekom 4G in 99% of households

Magyar Telekom’s 4G network reaches more than 99% of households in outside coverage, the company announced on Tuesday.

Recent network development projects mostly concerned small communities in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Nógrád and Pest counties.

The 4G network is available indoors across 88.5% of Hungary.

Development of the 4G+ mobile internet network has started and now it reaches 70 communities, CEO Christopher Mattheisen underlined.

Magyar Telekom’s broadband fixed-line internet service of at least 30 Mbps is available to over 3 million households and a further 300,000 will be connected this year.
