HBO expands in the region with online streaming

HBO announced the launch of streaming services in four Central and Eastern European countries, including Hungary.

HBO-Go will not require users to have a paid HBO television subscription. The online service will feature HBO’s popular series, including current shows, classics and some 800 movies. There will also be third-party programming such as “The Handmaid’s Tale” among the available titles. Documentary and children’s programming will also be featured.

The content will be available in English with Hungarian subtitles or in Hungarian on a maximum of five connected devices, including phones, tablets, Samsung smart TVs and Sony’s PlayStations.
