PMO second largest advertiser

The Prime Minister’s Office was the second largest advertiser in Hungary last year after Magyar Telekom, according to the annual report of independent communication agency weCAN, advertising news magazine Kreatív reported.

One of the most striking features of Hungary’s advertising market was that the government made it to the ranks of the top 10 advertisers, unlike elsewhere in the Eastern European region.

In Hungary, 37% of total ad spending went to online media, 30% to television, 17% to the printed press, 9% to outdoor, 5% to radio and 2% to other media.

The print media’s share of the advertising market in Hungary is still relatively high, Kreatív underlined.
