GreenGo enters Prague market

Hungarian car-sharing company GreenGo has started operations in Prague with 100 all-electric VW e-up! cars, it was announced on Friday.

The cars, which can be rented through a mobile app, will be available in two districts of the city in an area covering 35 square kilometres.

There are already several rival companies in the Czech capital, such as re.volt, Anytime, Car4Way, Autonapul and Ajo.cz, which offer electric cars and scooters.

Recently, Czech automaker Skoda announced plans to enter the market this year with its parent company Volkswagen, with the Skoda Citigo iV models.
