Government building wrestling school in Serbia

The government has allocated Ft 937 billion for the construction of a wrestling academy in Kanijza, Serbia, according to a decree published on Wednesday.

Defence Ministry state secretary Szilárd Németh, head of the Wrestling Association, recently said that popularising wrestling among ethnic Hungarians in neighbouring countries is an important goal, and mentioned the planned academy.

The head of the Serbian Wrestling Association is an ethnic Hungarian, Zoltán Bálint, who allowed ethnic Hungarian wrestlers to take part in the Hungarian championship instead of the Serbian one.
