13th District plans low-energy house

The 13th District in Budapest has invited bids for the construction of a 35-home “passive house” – one which requires minimal energy for heating and cooling – at Jász utca 35, according to the EU public tender website.

The ultra-low energy house with 4,308m2 of available space must be erected on the 1,258m2 site within 13 months. The underground garage has spaces for 35 cars.

Bids must be filed by June 4.

The district had a 100-home passive house built on Reiter Ferenc utca for Ft 2.3 billion in 2014, and another last year with 23 units on Kartács utca at a cost of Ft 961 million.
