Nemes film honoured by critics

Fipresci, the international federation of film critics, named Hungarian production Sunset as the best movie shown at the Venice Film Festival.

The Fipresci prize is not one of the official festival awards.

The movie, directed by László Nemes, did not win any prizes in official competition.

The producers had sold distribution rights to the film in nearly 70 countries before its world premier at the festival last week.

Sunset will be screened at the 15th Miskolc international film festival on September 15 and will be on general release in Hungary from September 27.
