Book Week starts tomorrow

Over 300 new titles will appear at the 89th Book Week starting on Thursday, Katalin Gál, president of the book publishers association MKKE told a press briefing on Tuesday.

More than 180 exhibitors and publications from 76 Hungarian publishers and 16 from abroad will be on display at the book week.

MKKE and the Hungarian Jewish Cultural Association will stage a joint remembrance at Kossuth Lajos utca 16 on June 15 to mark the anniversary of the destruction of the works of 120 Hungarian Jewish and 130 foreign authors on that day in 1944.
