József Nádor tér to be rebuilt

The Fifth District has selected Gödöllő-based construction company Penta, a frequent winner of public procurement tenders, to rebuild József Nádor square, in downtown Budapest, after the construction of an underground garage on the square has been completed.

Penta, which was the only bidder, asked Ft 1.184 billion for the work, which is to be completed within two years.

The statue of József Nádor will be restored and two fountains will also be established on the square.

OTP Ingatlan and West Hungária Bau are building the Ft 3 billion, three-storey underground garage for 525 vehicles.
