Ryanair to fly to Amman

Ryanair will launch direct flights between Budapest and Amman, Jordan in the winter timetable of 2018, the low-cost airline announced on Sunday.

There will be two weekly flights from October 28.

Amman will be the 34th destination offered by Ryanair from Budapest.

The number of travellers could be around 27,000 annually, Budapest Airport estimated.

Flights between the two capitals were last operated by the now defunct Hungarian state airline Malév.
