Tesla opens first charging station

Tesla has opened its first Supercharger charging station in Hungary at an OMV filling station on the M1 motorway near Győr, the electric-car maker announced on Wednesday.

OMV provided the site for the charging station at its “Arrabona” filling station and Tesla has built the charger for four cars. It takes about 20 minutes to charge Tesla cars up to 80%.

Tesla Superchargers are already available in Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic in the region.
