Food writer Angéla F. Nagy dies at 90



Food writer Angéla F. Nagy died on Wednesday. She was 90 years old.

The editor-in-chief of monthly gastronomy magazine Magyar Konyha for 17 years, Nagy taught a generation the basic skills of traditional cooking. Her life’s work is associated with aristocratic - civic cuisine and the noblest traditions of Hungarian gastronomy, the family told state news agency MTI.

Her 25 cookery books sold millions of copies.
