Wizz Air to add five new London routes

Low-cost airline Wizz Air announced it will expand from its base in London’s Luton Airport with five new routes and add four Airbus A320 aircraft to its fleet at the airport by June.

Wizz Air unveiled daily flights to Larnaca and Bratislava. It will fly three times a week to Tirana, Albania and Lvov, Ukraine and four flights a week will go to Tallinn, Estonia.

It is also increasing the frequency of its flights on three of its more popular routes, with Tel Aviv and Suceava flights becoming daily in spring next year, and Pristina flights increasing to three times a week.

The Hungarian-based airline carried over 5.5 million passengers on its Luton routes in the 12 months ending on October 31, up 11% from a year earlier.
