World Cup a big boost for MTV


One in four Hungarians watched some or all of the football World Cup final on Sunday night, state broadcaster MTV announced.
The match between Spain and the Netherlands attracted 51.3% of the total television audience at the time, including 59.4% of all men watching TV and 44% of women.
The tournament increased the internet audience, as over 100,000 watched MTV’s live online broadcast on some days.
