Hungarian youths in US river accident

The Hungarian Foreign Ministry has announced that a 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old boy from Mosonmagyaróvár, west Hungary, are missing after an amphibious sightseeing bus sank into the Delaware river, Philadelphia on Wednesday night.
Foreign Ministry consular affairs official Ágnes Klekot told reporters in Budapest that a 75-metre barge had crashed into the “duck bus”, knocking its passengers into the water.
The boat capsized and sank to a depth of 15 metres: 35 of the 37 who had been onboard were rescued, however. Debris from the bus may have dragged the missing two into the water, Népszabadság speculates.
The group of thirteen students and two teachers from Kossuth Lajos Secondary School in Mosonmagyaróvár, Győr county had arrived in the US for three weeks of language study on July 2.
Another three members of the school group were released from hospital after being treated for minor injuries.
The US Coast Guard were continuing their search for the missing youths on Thursday night.
